Full weekend again... I can;t seem to be able to have a weekend for resting and that's it. Maybe when I arrive home for holidays. Who knows?
This weekend I went at Versailles with Anya. A very nice place indeed, as everybody says. I liked it a lot, especially the gardens, that are more visited than the castle itself. The only regret I had was the weather... it was soooo cold! So the gardens are huuuge, and they have flowers everywhere (even on this weather), fountains and trees in amazing orders. It's a place that is worth seeing for sure.
The castle.. well, we had a really interesting surprise when we got there. We had no idea about this modern art exposition presented in the rooms of Versailles. So we were stunned when seeing the Lobster coming down from the ceiling, Michael Jackson holding Bubble (a monkey) - a statue made of porcelain, a Bear talking to a policeman, or the Pink Panthere held by a Barbie (or whatever that was). The artist is called Jeff Koons and his work is for sure surprising.
